Yes, 150hp TDI PD is always ARL.

And the EDC16 can record way more than just the mileage*g* (you wouldnt want to know*g*)

Mine had around 170bhp before my remap but also the torque makes it pull much harder than a petrol 150 turbo engine. Also your old golf may have been a slow 1.8T. I used to work for VAG dealerships and every car feels slightly different.
