hi there can anyone give me feedback on what hawk HPS or ferrodo ds2500 / 3000 front brake pads are like for a leon cupra 2007. ive heard yellowstuff pads take a while to warm up and arnt much better than OEM?

If my info. is correct the cupra pads are produced by Ferrodo. I had the 2500 from ferrodo and found them only slightly better than original and way too expensive.
The pad/disks of a cupra are the same as S3 8p and R32 V5 and get the best out of the single piston callipers. If you want better you could improve a bit with national disks and ferroro pads but after my experience it isn't worth the hassle.
If you really want to improve (only worth it for track days) you could go for a Brembo/Movit/AP big brake setup but that will cost serious money (perhaps the cayenne conversion would be a bit cheaper) and wear parts are outrageously expensive (and don't make the mistake to do only the front brakes).

So I would keep it stock (and stay away from EBC which is rubbish)

hi yes i know the original setup if ferrodo pads front and rear but my front could do with replacing and fade when hot.
