Cupra Mods

Looking at going for a MY09 Cupra (June Delivery) but having sheltered my self in the MK4 Ibiza section ive not got to much of a clue when it come to modding Leons.

So then what would have to be on the list to do?

1) P- Torque Map
2)
3)
4)
5)
6)

Depends what you want mate?

pure power or a mix with handling?

I'd go for a revo map, as that can be developed to a stage 2 + map eventually that will show you a good 350hp. (for that you will need fuel pump and intercooler though).

all the usual mods apply. Exhaust, induction kit etc.

Handling wise, definately needs lowering Just springs if you dont want to spend too much.

Exciting times ahead if you go for the Cupra

I recommend the normal cupra over the K1

Reason for Will's maps is after seeing Singh123's car on the rollers after just a map. Does the Cupra not have a Intercooler then?

What sort of costs am i looking at for Exhaust and Induction?

You say just springs but would this not damage the shocks (MK 4 problem) any recommendations on these & cost?

Its not definite yet but hopefully its the way forward

As i said in the thread in General Off Topic thread im not really a fan of the Cupra K1 i think the kit is a little to chav tastic and think the Cupra is the perfect mix of stealth and style with out screaming LOOK AT ME.

Good to see you going for the Cupra yeah Will's map is good very happy with it, you wont be disappointed and the service is very good aswell

For the exhaust you will be looking in the region of £1100 for a milltek turbo back non res fiited but dont quote me on that

iv just had the Fuel pump fitted i think next is the exhaust but need to get my pennies together: )

Id say the Cupra, as there are alot of other normal Leons with the K1 kit, and the cupra very stealth
