Hi there, newbie here :)

I am in the process of buying myself a mk3 from a friend, he tells me that the car is a CupraR but on the car it is just badged Cupra, can any one tell me the differences between the Cupra and the CupraR and should the be much a difference in price? Also If the car was to be the "R" model should it say on the cars registration documents?
any help appreciated

Cheers
Paul

Yes it should say, as above it should have also brembo brakes, red stiching on the interior (iirc) and on the engine cover a carbon fibre patch.

its got cupra plastered all over the seats but no red belts, I take it there was brembos or something similar on the R, never noticed a difference in the wheels, sorry but im a pure knob when it comes to Seat, I know nothing about them.

What about the price difference? I offered him £3500 for 2000 model with 61k its that blue colour..

i don't remember a blue cupra R anyway.or am i wrong?
red black yellow..........??????

Isnt that extremely cheap or am i missing something.

Dont recall seeing a blue R ever.

If the seats looked like this, but inset colour could also be grey or blue it is a normal Cupra:

Find out if the cambelt has been done, if not I would recommend doing it ASAP. That is a really good price though.
