Quick question?

Does anyone know if the cupra pedals will transfer on the the FR.

Garage are useless.

I cant see why they wont unless the whole pedal set comes with them

Anyone ???

Cheers

Alot of people on here have changed the pedals using the MkV Golf GTi type, there are guides on here. I presume they are the same thing.

I would say looking at mine that the brake and clutch rubbers are replaced easily but how is the accelerator pedal changed?

Its held on by one torx screw which is under a little pop in cover and you have to remove the electrical connector which can be a pig.

MK5 golf do fit

Bought a set on ebay, genuine parts. Looked to fit myself but not easy so local garage did the work for me (Plymouth Seat). Do lok the business. I know its all down to build cost but the model should have these from new.

Fitted these this evening after buying from vwspeed on ebay

Took all of 5 mins!

Was surprised how easy it was cos I remember fitting cupra pedals to my previous FR - it took hours and was a right PITA [:@]

New pedals look brill - now waiting on my brushed alu trim kit to arrive at the dealer [B)]

From who(?) on ebay?
I did a search and couldn't find anyone suitable-looking with that name.

edit - ah I guess it's vwspeedltd?

Really????

Including changing all the accelerator pedal and stuff?

What about the foot rest pedal, is that still black?

Are the black bits on the metal pedal rubber?

Yep 5 minutes - only difficult bit was getting the electrical connector off the old acc pedal...but a bit of prising with a flat screwdriver sorted that!

Just search for golf pedals in ebay and I'm sure they'll come up

Black bits on pedals I would say are more plastic than rubber but they are good quality OEM items so I'm not worried

Foot rests still black plastic but I've heard it's quite difficult to replace these - any suggestions?
