I haven’t heard of anybody hacking the ABT module.


Good description of what it does in link above, but again not definitive.

Only things we know for sure are..
1) Only gives full power when oil temps hit safe value. (80 or 90’c can’t remember)

Everything else is speculation about when it reduces power

So nobody has tried a better intercooler and or oil cooler, on an ABT?

The ABT kits in Europe have an additional level you can go to, involves a better air filter and their intercooler. However I know on the next level up (ie more power) requires the ABT module reprogramming.

So its not unheard of with the intercooler.

As for Oil cooler, these cars can suffer from I believe is called Oil surge when pushed heavily on track (Maybe called something else?) So an oil cooler and combined with the oil management system with the baffle and catch can should help the ABT run at peak performance for longer.

This is an example of what happens and this I'm sure is off a user on here that Racingline now use on their site as an example of why the management kit helps.
