Anybody else had a problem with their Cupra R badges 'corroding/discolouring' underneath the clear plastic top layer?

Common fault, should be covered under warranty.....

my car has had 4 sets of badges now all on warranty saying that you can buy all 3 cupra r bagdes for 15 pound if its out of warranty dont use ebay

The reason is, its a sticker inside the chromed surround moisture gets underneath the sticker and discolours it. Cure is clear laquer spray or paint on to seal the edge of sticker! Done it on my 2nd set and as yet no more hassle! I used laquer from chip kit used on wifes Renault.

mine too, all 3 three. going in soon. And the steering wheel badge, anyone else had that?
