Cupra R interior styling

Hey there!,
Bought a Cupra R a few months back and looking at some of them I noticed some of the dash fascia's were silver (around centre console air vents etc). Does anyone know where to get these from and how much they are? Not looking for the stick on ones I mean a proper relacement ones!

tho tbh i would go with a stick on one tho, much easier and more colour co-ordination!

That kit wasn't from SEAT, I believe it can be bought on ebay..... I bought the kit from an old forum member......think RobDon had the same kit

It was a self adhesive kit applied with a hairdryer and TBH it looked really good and lasted well

no good if you've fitted an after-market HU though !!!

if u look at the pic above it will be fine with an aftermarket HU!

rudd... hid urs come with a cover that goes around the window switches in the drivers door?

with an aftermarket HU, you'll have a strip down either side of the HU that's not the piano black.... std Leon HU is wider than an aftermarket one

i dont quite understand what your saying...

i have a kenwood head unit.

are you saying the autoleads facia adaptor wont be covered with te dash kit?

cos that is wat i assume as the autoleads facia is the same size as the OE headunit. and the dash kit goes around that!


so whats the problem?!

hmmm... not 100% sure i should order a black dash kit. u deffo think its worth sprusing up the interior with this £60 kit?

I bought the 'Alloy look' ones from dcp - i wasn't really impressed. Gave all except the air vent surrounds to a mate...

why were you not impressed?!


somehow i think the alloy kit would look out of place in an LCR because there is soo much black! but the black piano kit would suit it much better imo

The kit is made of really plyable plastic, which give it a rubbery texture. It's actually pretty squishy to the touch, which when it's trying to look metallic is a little off-putting!

I had hoped it would match the chrome detailing but it's not even close... Ah well - we live and learn!

oh i see... so if u had gone with the black piano dash kit this wouldnt have been an issue!????
