Its pretty easy:
Use small self tapper screws ( Dont bother with the pop rivets that are supplied with the kit {If you bought from dealers}) to screw the plastic trim bit onto your original valence ( or a new one)

Then mark out the two cut outs for the exhaust, just draw straight lines from the "arches" on the new trim piece. Then cut them out using a jigsaw or a stanley knife with a saw blade on it. NOTE: This does not need to be accurate whatsoever because the diffuser trim is glued on top, hiding everything.

Then put a bead of silicone/ adhesive ( Tiger seal or similar) { supplied in the kit if bought from dealers}) on the top edge of diffuser trim and bottom edges of the original valence, then put the diffuser trim on top and clamp together or hold together with tape!
EASY!
Then get it sprayed gloss black .....

Then bolt on a Milltek and enjoy!!! BRUUUUUUURR

i paid £100 for mine to be painted
Did you get this sprayed by a bodyshop or did you do it yourself?
Only reason I ask is because I am about to do mine and wanted to know if it's easy to paint yourself or if you had a bodyshop do it roughly how much it might cost.
Cheers.
Had it sprayed at a bodyshop mate, cost me £55 if I remember correctly. Another place quoted me 70 which I still don't think is that bad either.
£55 hmm that's a price I could probably stretch to at the moment to make sure it's done right, just wanted some ideas of how much I'd likely be looking at.
Think I will make some calls and see what's what.
Cheers guys![]()
This looks really good! So you have to cut the current one anyway :/?
Is it for a 2009 onwards but fits a Pre-facelift ?
I assume it must be fitted with the twin centre exhaust although one of the avatars above looks like it works with the twin BTTC style.
