cupra r splitter

hello all, fitted a leon cupra r splitter on my cupra(180) today. i dunno wot all you other cupra owners think of this but i think it makes the car look so much better. got no pictures as it was chuckin it down as i was fittin it.

I did the very same thing today too, I finished fitting it while it was just getting dark, haven't had the oppurtuinty to take photos yet.

Not as tricky to fit as I first thought , looks the dogs bollox now!

I followed your guide Pabs, u made it a doddle to fit.
Although had to chop it down a little bit on each end to make it fit properly.

Think it's because the overall shape of the My03 bumper is made diferently to the 180 spec one.

If i'm wrong correct me.... or maybe I just fitted it incorrectly.....arghh I dont know it was getting dark!!

just need some tape and a dry day and i can do mine
its already set off with all the self tappers and cut down

Simsy, I think you may be right tbh, but i fitted mine without any additional trimming. Just had to reposition it lots of times with selotape holding it in place until i was happy with it.

Oh Deffo agree Pabs. I saw it on your guide page and had to give it a try.
Surprising how a little bit of plastic can make the appearance of the MY03 & 180 spec Cupras look so much more aggressive.

It's a Top mod!

im glad 2 see by the posts that everyone thinks its a good little mod for your cars, ive not seen any one else round by me thats done it which is good! just gotta go slower over speed bumps thou now!

from what i saw craig senior had had to try him his a wee bit at the ends on his MY03 bumpers
ill see how it goes this weekend

yeah unfortunately most folk live quite far from me
ive been avoiding it for that reason as it is easier with 2 pairs of hands
