So finally got around to polish my Cupra First a strong alkaline foam x2 to remove whatever the dealer put on the car. Then fallout remover and a good wash with TAC mystic bubble.
Paintwork before correction:
First a correction with Scholl Purple spiderpad and Scholl S20black. Tbh I could have started with a more aggressive compound or pad so had to do some spot correction. After first stage:
Then a fine polish with soft pads and Scholl S30:
Wiped down the entire car x2 with CarTec panelwipe. Then time for a BaseCoat and TopCoat Ceramic from TAC systems. Basecoat was a pain in the *ss but TopCoat was like a breeze. Pretty happy with the end result:
