Still going?! Damn.

Get an EVO VIII MR with 10.5T hotside, exhaust, remap to 390bhp and blow the LCR, VXR & MK2 Stage 1 Cupra away in every circumstance ;). MK2 Cupra Stage 2+ might be more hassle from a rolling start but you'll be at 100mph before it's at 60mph most likely due to FWD gayness.

mmmmm Evo

in fairness most things are an easy kill with one of those. :funk:

I think that's the way I'm going, Tubby :) or 335i with remap if I decide to be sensible-ish. Either way, no more FWD after this one. Just looking for the right MR to come up and i'll grab it, would settle for a normal FQ but I CBA to install all the MR bits on to it just to get to where an MR already is from the factory.

have the best of speed and luxury n go for the RS3 next year i think? maybe 2012.

love it when audi come along and **** all over everyone.

My mate is selling one of these with 430bhp to play with. Tubi titanium exhaust etc. Sounds the nuts! It's awesome and a steal at £8k.

I fancy a Beemer next tbh.

The difference between Evo 8/9 VS RS3/Quattro is £10k vs £50k. If you've got £50k spare then be my guest but you could crank most cars up to sh*t all over those Audi's with that kind of money. Personally I would still prefer a Mitsubishi, I love their rawness, something that Audi can't ever match...going off VAG quite rapidly of late, becoming very boring, powerful but sensible and errr...old man-ish?

Agree with this, the audi will be well over priced for what is basically a hatch back, if i had that sort of money available think i would buy a caterham R500 or similar for spring/summer use and a decent second car for everyday use.
Think most makes of car have gone power mad now with all of them trying to win the bragging rights of most powerfull car in class.
