Cupra Silencer Removed

Just spent £30 and had my silencer removed, what a difference it makes! Would definately recommend getting it removed if you haven't already

I've got a 1.2 tsi Fr do you reckon having a de cat on that would make a lot of difference sound wise? Wouldn't mind more pops and bangs!

I would try the silencer removal first as its a cheap option, if you want it even louder then look into a decat? All down to personal preference really! I didn't want drone when i was sittin at a constant speed so thats why i tried this option and so far im delighted

Great thanks for the help mate do you have to chop the silencer out or is it clamped?

Its clamped at one end and needs cut at the other, was about 30 mins to have mine chopped and fitted

I'm not sure if there are any tutorials on how to do it. It's a simple enough job and only cost me £30.

All it is, is take the silencer off and replace it a pipe?

Yep chop it out and put a straight pipe in place

Is it loud when idling? Does Only starts getting loud when accelerating
Or is it a constantly loud?

No problem, it's slightly louder but nothin crazy! When you change gear you get the dsg farts and it's got a deeper note when accelerating.

Cheers, hoping to get a better video sometime as the pop when I change gear is a lot louder. It's definately worth doing!
