Hi, I'm considering buyin a black cupra sport 16v that's on auto trader for 2.5k..77k miles, does anyone happen to know anything about this motor (it's in a garage in plymouth) If anyone knows any thing before i buy it that would be much appreciated!!! cheers

Yea it was on borbet t's...with a 60mm drop.....I really struggled getting rid of it. Ended up buying a 306 gti6! I know 2.5k is expensive, was going to offer 2000 cash but i might just wait abit to see what comes up with regards to the mk3...i've heard lots of bad press so thoight i'd stick to the good old mk2!!

Back on topic..... £2.5k is waayyyy OTT for a Mk2 16V'er.

Almost as bad as the Mk2 Ibiza VR6 for sale on here for £3.2k
