Hi all,

I have been driving a diesel for the last 8 years so have only come back to a petrol engine in the last few weeks. I am just wondering if this is the norm for Cupra's. The car is slow to start for the first time each day, after the temp is up the car starts straight away each time. Generally it takes a second or two to start, I can here it cranking and it will fire after 1-2 secs. Is this the norm? I am very much a novice to anything mechanical so any help would be great :)

Mine does this too. I put in a new 5 year Varta battery when I bought it for peace of mind but still does it.
If I blip the throttle on startup it's better. When it's warmed up it's fine as you say. It's probably nothing but is noticeable.
