Cupra Stuttering

Hello

I am new to Leon ownership and recently picked up a Leon Cupra (53 Plate). In the past few days I've noticed that the car will stutter, at low revs in most noticably 2nd and 3rd gears, keeping the pressure on the gas the same. Give it one or two seconds and the car bursts back into life. Is this a coil pack problem? or maybe something else. I read another thread about a similar problem (Funkyfin) but his was happening at higher revs than mine so was unsure about it being the coilpack in my situation.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Steve

I agree with Phil C. It sounds like this pipe could be the culprit. Or a leak about the same area, under that smaller engine cover.

Its worth taking the Throttle Body off and giving that a clean too as mine was clogged up. (Its worth having a spare gasket to hand for that) You will need to realign it after that too.

I had the same problem as you and Phil above and mine is running perfect now after I did this and tightened up a loose pipe. Have a look for any signs of oil mist under that cover.

Thanks for the replies, I'll give them a go over the weekend

By the way no lights on the dash.
