I've just had a new hybrid turbo fitted and had the car mapped and having some issues with boost levels not increasing correctly when flooring it from certain RPM.
If I floor it from below 2k RPM then the car boosts perfectly and as expected reaching peak boost around 2.3k RPM at 28psi. However if I floor it above that the boost rises and then stops at around 21psi until 3K RPM where afterwards it will increase to what it should and I get a big dump of power.
It isn't a turbo issue as its a brand new unit. I was just wondering if anyone knows if this is a mechanical issue somewhere else. Seems as though something is holding the boost back.
I also don't believe this is a mapping issue either as I experienced the same issue on a stock map.
