Revo and goapr say hi. You wouldn’t need a cupra with a 1.8 done.
By the time you'd updated the diff (megabucks), dampers, brakes, wheels and tyres to Cupra spec, it would be cheaper to sell the 1.8 and buy a Cupra.

Only a fool would uprate the engine by 50% without suitable chassis upgrades.

Yes I agree if you wanted to mirror it then it be pointless doing that then you may as well as your just essentially mimicking a cupra. Just do it to feel like one, not be one. I’d do tyres. I think the brakes are roughly the same size as the standard non performance pack. No real need to change the wheels unless you want different ones anyway.
