the only thing making them different is fmic and bigger turbo ,

the injectors are the same as iv checked part numbers so / but i still may be wrong

the internals should be interchangeable so i cant see any reason why the block from a 130/150 could not be used, make sure its of a similiar age to yours though.

i'd buy a decent block then remove and strip your engine, if its just a buggered shell then you can buy a set and use the undamaged crank (chances are its "grabbed" on yours and killed it) from the donor block along with your rods and pistons in your original block.

in short you'll only actually need the crank from the donor block, some new shells (pd engines have sputter bearings so you need to pay attention to which way they come out of the cap and rod) and maybe some nice new arp bolts to hold it all together.

That sounds like a Plan. There could be some differences if you get a block with a different engine code. I was thinking of dropping an asv engine into my cordoba but the theremistats are in completely different places. Means I'd have to mess about with the plumbing. That other guy's idea sounds like a good one but watch for the plumbing differences that could cause you hassle when fitting.

Well as I've said - should there be a fitment issue just use the crank from the donor with some new shells and you can use all the original parts from your engine then drop that in.
