It just take its time and once it has it shape with a bit of heat it becomes alot more flexible guess plus I used to do some at a old job but I was horrible then haha

alot better. get some led bulbs for it aswell mate. its a 38mm festoon i think in the middle same as the ibiza, and 2x501 map l;ights.
