Straight swap, though you might get a buzzing when left indicating.....but remove the bulb and its fine.....
speaking of dashes....does anyone know what other dashes fit in a mk2? polo, skoda fabia audi tt or anything???

what about all the elctronics in the centre console?
surely theyre to the ecu for temperatures and what have you, or would you smooth it off or something with a screen in

looking at the skoda/polo dashes above they look more mk3 shape/style than mk2

Probably right about them fitting a mk3, so what will go in our boringly square mk2 dashes then? Not the older audi a3 dash?

theres always altering the std dials of course maybe adding some colour to the facia ? or changing the colour of the faces
ive removed the orange strip and the std bulbs on the top of mine and changed it for blue LED's - dont look too bad - be better with proper white dials i bet summat with some gloss
as usual the only limit is imagaination and taste i guess but im getting too old for that - lol
i once fitted the astra GTE lcd dash in my old mk2 cavalier (before it was cool to do so - lol) i bet with a little bit of work and maybe if possible change teh std colour from green to blue or whatever it would look good
