Dashbaord Has Locked after side impact

Hi,

Can anyone please help me, i have cleared all my faults on the ECU with VAG com.
But my dashboard is still locked up at the exact speed and revs of the crash, and it appears as if no power is getting to the dash, it wont even light up.
I have replaced all the relivant parts on my car so it is good to drive.

Anyone know how i get the dash to unfreeze so i can start the car?

Tryed disconnecting battery with no joy.

maybe its physical damage ? as in trapped wire or one still not connected after repair

check the fuse on the battery top

just managed to figure it out, took dash out and cable had popped out. is this come kind of safty so it records the speed upon impact?
So i have that sorted now car starts.

My car just vibrates alot now and i have power steering light on, i have not lost no fluid so any ideas?

i heard the same thing a long time ago.....your speedo will stick at the speed of the impact. dunno how true this is but could go against your favour in the wrong situation......

I have a similar problem....how do you get the dash out, think my rev counter cable is loose as it sticks and unsticks.....
