Dashboard lighting colour...

Hello everyone,

I've recently bought a Leon and love it (Off to a good start here?!)

My question is a simple one and I've searched the forums already - what is the exact orange colour of the dashboard back lights? I know they're redish orangey, but what level?

To give an example, BMW is 605nm orange.

I'm hoping to change the blue of my Pioneer head unit to redish orangey to match the rest of the interior.

I don't know the wavelength, sorry.

But if you have an iPhone, I'm pretty sure there's a Pantone app released a while back which can give you Pantone colour references from photos you snap... might help?

Looks like it's 660nm - Ultra Red (or very nearly)!

Thanks for that top idea - to Maplins... I hope my head unit survives the butchering!
