Interesting one.

I took my car in to have a slave cylinder changed and the day after I ran into a few problems.

start/stop error
Drivers led strip flickering on headlights but not all the time
Eml light coming on
Lastly a few days after the oil pressure light flashed twice and went off.

im wondering whether this is sensor or electrical related and if anyone has run into this problembefore.
The car is in with my mechanic at the moment but i’m unsure whether he will find the problem.
I’ll update when I go to see him later.

Disturbed a wiring socket or earth strap?

Possibly. Just really weird. Mechanic can’t work it out either. Got an auto electrician coming down hopefully Monday to check it out. Really surprised about the amount of faults coming up. New battery hasn’t solved anything either

Does the gearbox have to come out for a slave cylinder change? If so, I'd go with martinj and suggest a grounding strap has been left off or loose.

Cheers, I’ll mention that to the electrician when I see him. Hopefully he finds the problem as it’s driving me insane
