My Terramar was due in for its first service today, after reading about a software update just released on another site I decided to contact the dealer to ask if they knew anything about it. At first he said no , but would go and check. He came back a couple of minutes later and says " yes it requires a software update and we need the car for two days ". As I require the car for the weekend, we have rearranged the service and software update to a suitable date for me in May. I thought this might be useful for people just about to book a service and let you know they will require the car for 1 to 2 days. Courtesy car will be provided for the 2 days they have it.

There's no definitive list of what issues it resolves but it does include an update of the multifunction camera in the windscreen.

Just had my first edition done this week while it was in to check on various hybris system error messages (turned out it was a faulty compressor). I can confirm it was a full two days for the update to run its course and got the car back yesterday.
Bit early to tell, but am convinced the driving experience / switch between ICE and electric feels more refined somehow?
I've also noticed significantly better combined MPG on a regular drive I do.

So far so good and will see if I notice anything else in the coming days

Hi. my Terramar is going in to have the charging flap changed, I thought I would ask about any software updates or does my version look
about right?

Service centre only, they require a multi stage process to be carried out that requires special equipment and takes a few hours to complete

I have Terramar 2.0TSI 204 PS 4Drive.
Originally it had Comfort, Performance, Individual and Off-Road drive profiles. In owner manual it say that 4Drive models also get Snow profile but it was missing from my car.
I asked dealer about it several times but never got any answer.

I did update this week and now there is Snow drive profile also available.

what version of software are you running? I have a Formentor with this same engine but no snow mode

Hi, I've just got my 1.5 eTSI V2 on lease. Have heard about this update and just wanted to see if there's a way of finding out if my car needs to have it installed or not, is there a version number available within the menus somewhere that I can check?

Thanks!

Yesterday i got the car back from the oil service and they did the upgrade as well.

I noticed a snow profile now, AndroidAuto/CarPlay icon is now next to the P icon on the right side and because of that you can have additional shortcut on the screen.

P icon now is constantly visible, it's not blinking anymore.

I see the radio database isn't up to the release level of the source materiel from Phonostar that do the database for Vag.

Now this is a bit of a research thread linked above where those external files did work on Seat / Cupras at one time. It's whether they put the profile of the unit in and then its taken, if not it wont be and will be ignored. The over the air ones come via connected services are when Cupra pushes them to you. VW and Skoda people peeved with waiting go to the direct file, but then its whether that has the profile in it for the unit to be imported.

The current release at this time is 1.31.66 which is ahead of the image above. This now contains Bauer, Hits FM etc so its said so if anyone wants to experiment... don't blaim me. It shouldn't do anything if it's not correctly seen. Think you have to do something then to pull off what's imported onto the unit.... did say it was a research thread. I haven't got mib3/4 (ICE) or ICAS3 (EV units). Depends how bothered you are with missing logos.

Troc people have a celebration after the 64 release... they probably don't know about 66. Haven't got their ear to the ground.

So you would expect Phonostar to be keeping these files for pan use across Vag. They are the Vag contractors for the logo files.
