first modification i done to mines...

Kind of like the mk2 debadged grille, done - but done for a reason, a cheap effective modification.

Ebay, FK grille, £20.

Job Done.

I cant find on one ebay for £20

Been looking for one for ages and still havent found one!

Thats what im thinking of doing. I have a gti one with and lcr splitter on that i was going to put on my car but now im thinking of just getting a gti one as my car is lowered 60mm at the front and the lcr splitter would probably catch on every speed bump. I mean they are only 16 quid or something so it wouldnt matter

i know the lcr splitter has been done to death but there is only 2 other ibiza gti's in my area which are 8v's and owned by old giffords, they dont have a lcr splitter so mine looks so much better.

are your fog light surrounds ' grooved ' ? never seen em like that before

Well noticed! ;)

That is because I cut the wholes out of the grooved 1.4 fog light covers rather than going to the stealers and paying an arm and a leg for the smooth ones! Though it was a pain in the neck to do, saved me some money in the end!

Could be the new must do mod.......

OK this is a bit of a thread jack, but did i see a "how to de-badge a standard grille" thread a couple of months back? Has anyone simply removed the badge from a standard grile?

I think the de-badged Ibiza looks better than any other de-badged car i've seen so was gonna do mine some time soon but don't really want to buy another grille...

My Beeza had silver mesh on it when I got it (along with horrible bumpers) and it looked pants. Changed it for black mesh and it still looked quite pants.

So I bit the bullet and bought an FK grill off eBay, happy with that. Might put the GTi badge I have back on though, too many people think it's a Saxo at the moment!
