so got sick of looking at the silver key lock so bought a de-lock kit off ebay.the car locks the same and no faults.

you get the blank barrol and then a cap that locks in place sam.

Is there anything like this that just covers the locks but doesn't delock them. So you don't see the locks but you they are still there if the remote doesn't work OR if you want to do the windows up with the remote ( love that little trick )

I've used the same plastic cap and insert on my last 3 cars - a very essential mod.

takes about 5 mins mate i thought i would have to take the door panel off but you dont

you do it your self just 1 t20 screw undo not fully take it out lock pulls out in 1 piece.
then fit the cap to the delock barrol and push back in and re-tighten the screw.
bobs your tea pot.

My barrel lock was hell to remove though, even with the torx screw unscrewed and the door handle open, I had to force it out from the inside of the door with a hammer and screwdriver, it did shift eventually but I almost gave up!

Awesome, that's gonna be the next purchse I think, also can you just put the caps on without changing the barrel over, cos if ya key fob dies you ain't gettin in the car
