Anyone any idea of where to get clear repeaters for a mk4 ibiza? And any tips on making the front and rear indicators less orange (when not in use obviously).

Ebay is your friend, this is where I got mine for the front:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/IBIZA-TOLEDO-Silver-Chrome-AMBER-Indicator-Bulbs_W0QQitemZ260382366295QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3c9fff9a57&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1689|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

And side repeaters: (listing says they are for a Golf, but they are the same)

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-MK4-CHROME-SIDE-REPEATERS-SILVER-BULBS_W0QQitemZ250423974265QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item3a4e6e9979&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1683|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

Takes less than 4 mins to fit the lot!

Rear ones are colour in the lens/light unit I think ... would have to change the full light units for that one, personally was fussed about changing those ones, just the fronts and sides for me...

I have these as front indicators: >>Osram Diadem<<

They have a nice blue/pearl effect and flash bright amber.
I used to have the chrome ones but they were very dim when flashing, and invisible when my hid`s are on!

The alternative are Philips Silver Visions. These don't give that blue effect but are silver/clear when unlit. You can buy both at powerbulbs.co.uk. I have read to stay away from cheap ones from eBay or ones from halfrauds, Silvertec, I think. This is because they are dangerously dim when flashing.

I think this is the next mod I do to my Furby.

Yeah they look nice, I went for the Diadems because my car is glacier blue and it suits it well. I had the silvertec ones from halfords and even though they look nice unlit they are dangerous. A few times i would be pulling into a junction and the car waiting to pull out would just sit there for ages even if I flashed them, because they could`nt see my indicator!

This was most noticable in bright sunshine or at night with my lights on.

Agreed. I got some cheapo ones in my Lupo and they were worse that using a lit match. Swapped to Philips Silvervisions the same day as I'd used some in our MINI and knew they were worth the dough.

The same bulbs are in the Ibiza now, which makes them 7 years old!

sweet! cheers guys! i ordered the mk4 golf repeaters, and i think i will try and get some philips front bulbs. I will eventually get lexus style lights for the rear, or else FR lights.

What do you think of these? Would they fit?

They will fit (39mm), but these are better, I had the 8 led ones but they were a bit too blue for me (even though they say white), and I also had the 2 led versions of ^above^ but they were too bright.. ended up lighting the road!
