decat owners help

where has everybody got there decat pipes from only ones i can find are these

I know that supersprint make one but as far as i no its for a left hand drive and may not fit or need modding to fit.

im not worried about mot as im just going to change it over every year
and cell lights shouldn't be a problem as i will be running a AQX ecu

I have not seen anyone running a 'decat' pipe on here.

seems to be a few using them when i did a search but cant find where they got them from.
Or are they using custom made ones custom made ones?

take it to stevie at powerflow and get flanges welded in, that way it makes it easier to swap em over , what difference does the AQX ecu make

no point putting a decat on if you have a std downpipe - it won't make ajot of difference.

If you have a downpipe, you may as well have a sports cat & not worry about emissions / road side tests etc

THe ebay link you show is for a Golf 4 platform car & won't fit.

aqx code ecu dosen't have the second lambda probe reading so no cell lights

there was a de-cat supersprint exhaust for sale second hand on ebay a while ago uk seller so i would have fort they would fit! do you know how much one is? and ive cein a few people using de-cat on here.

fitted one of these to mine and if did my research before i wouldnt of bothered as theres a fair bit of tweeking to get them to fit.i won it for £70 so i didnt mind at that price,good quality welds etc

as the supersprint 1 wont fit

Be carefull though, often fitting a decat makes a car raaaaassssspy as hell.

even he said that it wont fit. So i dont no why he has it in his add that it will fit an ibiza cupra

whats the best race cat then. As far as i know blueflame are doing an offer for 277 quid for 1. but i have a millteck 2.5" catback on it now and don't no if the blueflame one will meet up with it.

what size is the blueflame pipe after the cat?

Blueflame iirc will do a number of different systems to what you need. Some people i think go for the 3" dp and 2.75, which i reckon is overkill on a k03 system.


Other option is to get a DP made up by the likes of powerflow etc...
