Decat question.

Going to order the scorpionp decat soon.

Will I be able to get new gaskets from any motor factors?

What will I need to do for the 2nd lamda sensor? Car is mapped already so can't map it out. I read that I would need spacers for it? Best place to get one? I know it will through the engine management light on. But would it make the car run rich?

Also have the wee one in car often. Is it going to make the standard system noiser?

Yep, you need an spacer for the 2nd lambda (where the cat sits). Search for "o2 lambda spacer" on eBay. Or check 42 Draft Designs for a nicer one (does the same).

my volume has increased slightly but only on full throttle realy. i ran mine with o2 spacer before i had it mapped out and didnt get any lights.

Been told the 2nd lamda sensor is really just to measure if cat is doing its job and the 02 spacer shouldn't put light on. Will get on ebay later on.

Only thing I don't know the thread size on the decat

Lambda sensor thread is M18x1.5, most adaptors are like this, I ordered one of ebay for about £8

Tip: buy an angled lambda spacer, there isnt much room there.

Well de cat came.

The miss's had been buggering about with my ebay and deleted the angled sensor I was watching.

If anyone could quickly put a link to the right one that would be awesome as I forgot the thread pitch.

Also gaskets. Am I best going to seat for them or dingbro or such?

Also what size of bolts would I need? I'm gettin stainless ones as plannin on just cutting the old ones off for quickness. I'd asume m8's? Also it worth getting the nylock nuts?

Nylock nuts won't be any good for that application. You need an all metal locknut because of the heat

Just a bit of personal advice, dont use stainless nuts/bolts on an exhaust, stainless bolts will go brittle after lots heat and heat cycles, so if you have to remove them, they will 90% of the time be siezed and end up snapping, this is from personal experience, im sure many will say use stainless, but like I say, its just from presonal experience, just use 8.8 rated zinc plated bolts, or hardened black 12.4 bolts.

Jamie anychance if you know it that sensor I stuck up with the ebay item number is the right one?
