Hello to all.

After nearly 4 months waiting for the bugger to be built, on Friday afternoon I shall be taking Delviery of my Ibiza FR TSI.

Just wanted to know from people on here if there is anything that i should look out for, any common problems that people are aware of?

Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site and congrats on the new ride mate. Just check the usual stuff, no body damage etc. make sure there is sufficient oil in and that all the little gadgets work as is meant. Other than that, have fun and make sure you get it remapped, 150BHP to about 210BHP :funk:

Take it that will all be in the manual? First new car I've had so want to make sure I get it right.

No - its inside the fuel filler flap :D

hope it will all be worth the LONG wait:)

Haha good job I asked. I'm not one for reading manuals. Would have spent all day trying to find that out.

The long wait is only due to having extras on so needed it specially built. My own fault I guess.

Read the manual, there's loads of little things the car does that the manual tells you about. It'll save you asking daft questions...

alternatively check out the "handy things to know" thread in the FAQ, where most have already been discovered and discussed :)
