Dension or Connects 2 IPOD connection?

Just wondering which is better? I have a 05 FR Leon and a 30GB Video Ipod. I have seen a thread on here whereby a couple of people have had problems with the Dension so any advice would be appreciated.

Can't comment on the connect 2 but, I have a dension and it works fine. I've also fitted one to my sisters Mk3 Ibiza and that works fine too.

If you are going to use a Dension from the standard Aura head unit, think again. Its a pile of ****..... I gave up and I (eventually after a lot of faffing about) persuaded the dension to switch to the Ipod user interface instead.

I know people have had problems with the dension connecting to the Aura head unit, but it does work fine in some cases, mine is proof.

Afraid i am another who has had problems with the Denison. Like ljsanders i eventually got it to use the i pod interface as well but that wasn`t what i bought it for.

Out of interest ian, have you got the active cradle or the lead ? mine is on a cradle.

Mines a dock connector (not a cradle).

The support from dension (despite their website), has been non-existant. I've emailed them a couple of times and they've ignored me.

bought a dension for my ipod nano £100, what a waste of money that was when i switch engine off then back on it loses the track it was playing have to choose a playlist again, thats when it is not locking my nano up and have to keep resetting it. load of shite.

No problems at all with mine, although I prefer the Ipod UI
