can i put 195/45 16 tyres on alloy wheels that have 205/55 16 tyres on? for that euro look? any help would be great

you'll be able to fit 195's to 7" rims no problem

it won't look very 'euro' though.... just normal

it's very hard to say really - since it's not "recommended" you don't tend to find many reliable sources

might well be worth a trawl of the edition38.com forums to see what people stick on their cars?

just trawling the chasm of nutters that is VWVortex

FYI 235's on a 9.5" and they look 'well' stretched

so I think that taking 40mm off that (for tyres) will still leave you with a heck of a gap.

not sure if there is a 'formula' to work it out.

right ive just had a look at them and they are 6jx16 52.3 offset so i think 195/45 16 will fit with no problems
