Detailing and motorway? Do they mix?

Hi guys,

My black LCR is in need of a few scratches sorting out and a good polish/wax etc etc so i want to take it somewhere in Bristol to get it done. (No idea where yet!)

Anyways, i do about 300-400 miles a week all on the motorway. At the end of every week my car looks like its been dragged through a salt storage pit.

If i spend loads of money getting it waxed etc, is it all going to be wasted in a few days time after i have done some miles?

If it is worth it, does anyone know someone in the bristol area that does this kind of thing?

Thanks

Ben

Well, you're never going to to stop it getting dirty. But once it's been sorted out and a has some good protection on it only takes a wash to bring it back and the occasional top up to keep the protection up.

I suffer the same, but mine is country roads rather than motorways. But it will go form this:

To this with a quick wash:

OK, so maybe ill look at getting it done up all nice then.

After that, it should hopefully just be a case of keeping it nice.

Righty, time to find someone in Bristol that can do it?!!

Cheers mate
