Hi, does anyone know if the intercooler found in audi, vw 2.0 16v engines is side mounted or large type similar to pd150 engines?

If your talking about the diesel 2.0 16v then it is a large FMIC, petrol not got a clue.

I heard your (old) car was up Blackpool way John, being ragged about by someone.
Next upgrade is injectors and the ported head being fitted. But it seems a new clutch has been thrown into the equation now after I managed to make my 400 lb/ft kevlar clutch slip with total ease on an 1/8 mile drag race track....

Aren't you struggling to get the powder as it is.
Did you read the article about jabba's fabia in performance tuner. They reported similar problems but I was amazed reading the list of parts that a lsd wasn't fitted.
If you uprate the clutch it could be another transmission part fails?
