Hi All,
After trying to resolve an intermittent miss-fire on my good lady's ibiza, I stumbled across this awesome site (glad so see that I'm not the only one with a pedal box problem!). I was wondering is there a plug in fault code reader available for the Mk2 Ibiza's? Mines a... sorry Hers is a 'N' Reg Salsa with an AEX 1.4 Petrol engine. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome aboard.

VAG-COM or VCDS is the generally used and recommended system for VW group cars. There's a section on here dedicated to it (and on most other half decent VAG forums too). Have a read through there, it's not cheap but is very comprehensive. There is normally a member on here with a set-up near you who may be willing to help you out for a few beers. I don't have the system myself though!

There are also other fault code readers that are generally available but cater for VW based vehicles on sale so it may be worth putting a search in on the site as some members have bought other systems and used them successfully.
