My mate very kindly went to Euro Car Parts for me this morning to pick up 4 coilpacks...

He gave my car reg and they checked it on the computer etc and he walked out with 4 nice boxes for me.

Got them out of the box here to find they look nothing like the current coilpacks on the car.. They sort of look like they might fit but look like they may need bolts ??

Here are the coilpacks and the part codes on the box.. Can someone let me know whether i should attempt to fit these tomorrow or get back and get them swapped?

thanks people :D

the only number on the coilpack itself is 880037 not sure if its different on the others though lol.. The receipt says part number 413440400! Hope they are just the bolt on ones.. will need some new bolts too then :)

wicked thats good to hear cheers matey :)

So next question... lol Where can i get bolts from ? Im pretty sure i can rip all the crap on top of the coilpacks off now since ive bypassed it but would still be missing some bolts..

You should really get the rubber seals and bolts for them.

I run these. Always been top notch. :D

M47NER why the **** is your N249/N112 like that?

and you can bin the black box type thing (or store it somewhere)

I wanted those coil packs from my local euro car parts and they said they didnt have bolt on ones for mine grrrrrrrr and I couldnt remember the part number so got the normal ones, really wanted them though :'(

Yeah my split r was fitted like that for the first week i had it.....untill i realised it was on wrong, lol

Whats the difference in these coilpacks than as i need to get some new ones?

not sure about any actual difference inside but they seem to fit quite a bit better and then after bolting down theres no chance of them trying to loosen themselves like the old ones :)

probably wont bolt down though if youve got the wrong rocker cover, worth a check to see if the bolt holes are there as im sure phil had to change his rocker cover when he upgraded to bolt down coils

Other way round dave, had to change my coil packs coz they didnt hold the push in ones properly.

All rockers have the holes except i think for those weird AGN smooth covers.
