Diesel De-Cat

What issues would I come across if I wanted to remove the cat(s) and particulate filter from my Ref Sport?

A CAT can be removed from any diesel car with no MOT issues but you will feel no power gain unless you are going down the hybrid turbo route. Only the PD170 engines have a particulate filter which cannot be removed as they have to have them legally plus it is encoded into your engine ECU so the engine will go into limp mode.

I dont need extra performance, as I have an RX-7 for fun.

Looking at doing it more to see what noise it makes. I've been told they sound ok.
