Hi everyone, I did search the forums with the above title, but no related posts found.
I have a 1.9 Tdi 150bhp mark 1 Seat Leon Cupra (03) diesel. It's the ARL engine.
Came down the road last night and the car sounded really rough. No engine management lights came on and no apparent loss in power. Sounds like it could possibly be a diesel knock, but not sure how to do a leak test on the injectors.
I did some research and similar issues could be the dmf (Dual Mass Flywheel) however no change in noise when you depress the clutch pedal, which suggests it's not this.
Could also be injector wiring loom, not sure how to check this.
Think it could be an injector has gone down, but how do I find out which one?
