i'l probably get corrected on some of this but from what i can see, also looking for a cupra tdi, the fr series was the later spec models which had different wheels, bumpers (poss.) and mirrors, don;t think there was much else different. sure someone will be able to give you more info. though.

Hmm, I've just taken this step - bought a Cupra TDI, as I thought the FR looked a bit too 'boy racer'. What 'the_prophet' says fits with what I saw (it was a late FR).

The Cupra has a CD changer, but doesn't (in my case) have a Cupra badge on the rear, just Leon TDI...

the fr has silver mirrors, a slighter lighter grey interior, single cd player instead of the 6 disc changer, different style wheel, wich i think doesnt look as good and fr on the wings

I think you mean the FR+ not the FR... The FR looks the same but with a different wheel style...

Very confusing TBH, seat change model names more frequently than any other brand I know...

Got a superb CUPRA original stick on badge for fifteen quid off ebay, and a black shark fin aerial which looks ace but receptions pretty poor.Eagerly awaiting arrival of a set of seat cupra printed number plates too. A good place to look for bits and pieces.

IIRC Cupra badges are only about £8 from the stealers. Might be worth buying a job lot and sticking them on flea-bay?

They don't even look good on BMW's; so if it looks pony and doesn't work, what's the point?
