Different dashboard? Can you help?!

I have a July 2005 Altea 2.0 TDI Sport which is fab. However, I am a little confused. My dashboard has large fuel and temp guages with a smallish LED display which shows the mileage, trip and the computer function as selected by me.

However, I've seen some shots of Altea dashes, both older and younger than mine which have a much larger LED display showing a diagram of the car, very much like the ones in the Mk 5 Golfs.

Any ideas on why the dashes are not the same??

These displays come with the MP3/Bluetooth option and allow the phonebook to be displayed from your mobile phone.
