Hi guys,

Does anyone have any clue as of how to re-wire the dipped and full beam circuits so that the dipped bulbs stay on with the full beams?? The full beam spread is pitiful by itself and im sick of the feds flashing me when I put my fogs on for a wider spread! And iv tried adjusting the angle but it doesn't really work.

Cheers, Andy

they should stay on anyway

what lights do you have ?

you can add a diode so the current only goes one way - i've added one at the rear of the switch so my fogs come on with high beam but no high beam if i use fogs

its the standard GTi ones with the separate chamber for the full beams. I've brought this up before and it seems some peoples dipped go off and some peoples stay on with full beams, its a bit hit and miss I think. I was thinking maybe there are 2 different relays that can be used or something?

could be a model year or relay thing - pretty sure mine stay on - ill check again later

Yep, this had definately been floating around within a few threads...

mine go off as well :( and its a 98 Cordy on a 'S'

flapper, i like what you have done, fog wired up to full beam, but still can use fogs independantly?

actually IIRC on mine, if you use the stalk to just flash, all chambers light up, but if you click the stalk on to full beam, the dipped go off.

would love to sort this too
