Simple question really.

Friend of mine is doing a k04 1.8t conversion on his 6n mk4 polo, so was wantin to go discs on the rear. Hes found a rear beam off a mk3 cupra and was wondering if it fits?

Thanks.

even if the rear beam isnt directly bolt-able on able :) , all he needs is the stub axles , calipers , cables , discs pads etc

the rear beams are made so that either brake set up ( drum or disc) bolt on with the appropriate stub axle

how he sorts bias out is another problem

If the beam doesnt fit the stub axels will so it'll still work, im sure the beams are the same mind. If he can't find one local I've got one with Mk3 Alloy rear callipers that I can delivery for £124.95.

And the bias is worked through the ABS on the Ibiza, if his polo doesnt have ABS all he'll have to do is run some bias valves, if it doesnt already have them fitted to the beam. Some VW's use a lever type bias valve.
