does anybody still enjoy their mk3?

Every time i hit 21psi, i still get a big smile.

Its especially more responsive in this colder weather! I have a mear remap, nothing else, with big potential still, e.g. turbo upgrades

If i had to get rid of it, I think ill find it difficult to match for the money and speed, the thing is bloomin reliable too, okay you get the niggles but i enjoy fixing them

obviously i need to get a life!

I still enjoy mine...I'll enjoy it even more so when I've got my K03s and some tyres that arent P7000s

just ordered another pair of dunlop sp9000's. I got rid of the p-zeros pretty much as soon as i got the car, shocking in the wet, i think pirelli's are made for spain weather climates!

Parada's will die after 2 months.....

mate had them on a 1.8 16v mk4 astra sxi and he was gutted that they wore sooooo damn fast.....

god knows what they'd be like on a cupra

i still enjoy mine, ever more so since its been running sweet

mine feels quick enough as it is and tbh once iv got a dp an cat, fmic and a set of wheels, i cant see myself wanting to spend anymore money on it...although brembos would be fashionable

i finally got around to putting some new mats in as the old ones were very tatty, ended up fitting a set of pug 206 official 'SP' mats i had lying around in the garage and they fit a charm and i was actually pretty chuffed by them

Tom, good luck with trying to get any sense out of them If you wanted to go elsewhere you'll more than likely need a new ECU.

Yepp, i know, kinda peein me off, it may be that it is running the proper boost, but the guage is ****. I've got a different guage to swap over, but aint had a chance yet.

If not, i'll search for views on remaps.

I dont want a friggin new remap tho! Got a house to sort out!! Ahhhhh!

Yepp got coilies to fit too, really enjoeyed it yesterday, flooring it up the inside of a lorry.

And last night, racing another cupra, and a Golf GTI who were having a tussel last night, and were pretty much side by side, but then both looked displeased as i flashed them to move over and flew past them!

Maybe the remap isn't showing full boost, but it certainly flew last light.

I have eagle f1's and they feel more stable around roundabouts but ive just gotten them on wider wheels so it prob summat to do with that.

slightly different to you all as i have the TDI 110 so havent a clue about 21 psi! but alas i ceertainly do still enjoy my car, after 4 years its still great fun, even as standard as i have essentially.

Martyn, i've got the free version of Vag Com, and a certain member with a Blue Ibiza from a nearby Valley said he was gonna send me the full version.
But i'm also not sure if the cable i have is correct. Haven't been able to get it to work since i bought the cable.

And i aint computer minded.

I love my Ibiza, it was off road over xmas until the MOT was done, been driving her 3-4 weeks and again she is off the road due to the Exhaust falling off (standard, so its done 5yrs!)

I love getting back in her, she feels so much more ooomph than the CTR, can't wait for my milltek (sat) and K03s (come on Shock lol)...loving the 3rd gear boot...
