Im new to this so please forgive me if im being silly. I bought a 2000 seat leon 1.9 tdi s and there doesnt seem to be any central locking. the doors have to be locked individually and with a key. It doesnt have any electric windows or air con. My question is, did this base model not come with central locking or is the locking on my car not working? I have google the standard specification and it seems the s model all came with front elctric windows and central locking. This car may have come from the republic of ireland when new so the specs may be different. Any help would be much appreciated!

Central locking is control by car key fob and i think if you lock 1 door with the key they shuld all lock.

Think that is right but dont quote me ;-)

I only got a plastic key (looks like a spare key). it doesnt have a transponder on it. Did central locking come as standard on al leons since 2000 or was it after that? Thanks

there is no button there. this must have been a very early base spec. I thought central locking was standard across the range and mine just isnt working but i must be wrong. Cheers mate.

it must be an import from southern ireland. they have lower spec than uk cars.
