]Hey, quite a while ago I bought some door handle covers off ebay.

Metal with 3m sticky tape on them.

They were to go over the nasty faded and lacquer peeling handles I had.

Originally I was going to take them off and give them a spray etc... But the more I thought about it and saw how annoying they can be to take off I got the handle covers instead.

May not be to everyone's taste but I think they look loads better and tie in nicely with the badges.

Here's the pic. I don't have a very good "before" pic but I'm sure you can understand my reasoning lol.

where on ebay did you find them ?

originally i looked at some carbon fiber covers but they were £70 for 2 LOL.

These were umm... i think £18 and was pleasantly surprised that they were metal. I was expecting some pretend chrome plastic (not saying these are chrome though but you know what i mean).

There are some others on there but these were the ones i chose.

They came with 2 door lock covers, i guess in case you have one on the passenger side and 4 full blanking ones.

I recently resprayed my handles as they were in a bad state.

They were relatively pain free to do - they come out easy enough.

I sanded then primed then a couple of coats of colour and a couple of coats of laquer.

The drivers door handle wouldn't come out so I just masked up the entire side of my car and did it on - used a chopstick to hold the handle out for some parts.

Came up quite well. I'll get a pic up tomorrow night.
