Door handle fun -pattern parts?

Hi all,
The drivers door handle is sticking on my wife's car, common issue it appears. Phoned the dealers and they quoted me about £50 for a replacement - oof. There's a variety of pattern parts on ebay for less than half this - has anyone had any experience with the cheaper stuff - am I likely to notice a significant drop in quality/durability?
Just want to make sure I'm making the right choice with a genuine part, or actually does the cheaper stuff work/last just as well?
Thoughts anyone?

Similar prices on Ebay for genuine stuff as well which suggested they weren't taking the mick.

Yep, it's about £50 now, just tried another dealer (different group).

Spunked £50 for the genuine item, given the hassle involved in getting to it, I figured I'd only want to do the job once.
