Just wondering if anyone has ever had any bother with the door handle sticking? When i pull the handle it opens the door ok but doesnt pop back into resting place, instead it sticks out & means the door wont shut. Happens all the time now & gets rather annoying as its on the drivers side. I tried spraying WD40 into it but didnt make any difference. Any help?

Tried oil rather than wd40?

Mine is not as springy on the driver side as it is on the passenger.

I won't tell you what SEAT quoted me for a new door handle.... ok it was over £200 :lol::lol::lol:

Lousy robbing *******s.

I lubricated the cable that operates the mechanism to open the door, and it's been fine ever since. Just greased it up. The cable goes in and out of the mechanism so in turn you're lubricating the mechanism, not just the cable.

Im assuming the door card has to come off to do this? That much hassle?

I have this problem and instead of using wd40 i used gt85 or whatever its called, its a lubricant that is used on bikes to stop dirt and grit sticking to the chain etc but will keep it working nicely. A little sray of this now and again and seems to sort it out for while.
