Sorry to bring this up.... again! But after my car went in to have a rattle in the passenger door fixed, I began to notice a different rattle. Where the old rattle would happen over rough tarmac, the new one was only if going over potholes or perhaps expansion gaps on the motorway.
In addition to this, I noticed that a new issue was apparent - when opening and closing the passenger door, I'd sometimes hear a "squeak". Anyway, it was annoying me so much that tonight I took a look and began by removing the cover to the screw behind the main handle you use to shut the door.
To my surprise, the screw behind this panel was only half screwed in. Easy fix, I thought and brought out the screw driver. However, it seems the screw only wants to go in half way! Rather than the technician investigating why they've obviously gone - oh that'll do. However, the screw being half way was worse than useless as this was causing the squeak - when the door rubbed against the screw it was causing this noise.
I didn't have the time (nor the skill probably) to take a better look at night so I've fashioned a large washer out of some spare plastic I had and now the screw pulls flush to the panel as intended. Took it for a quick spin around the block and the rattle in the rear of the car is now next on my agenda

It seems you only notice the loudest one in the car!
Thought I'd mention this unless someone else may have a dodgy-fitting screw somewhere causing grief.
