Door sensor faulty

I've had an issue the past couple of weeks where the MFD shows that the rear right door is open when it is not. When I start the car it doesnt show up but as soon as I hit a bump on the road the MFD shows that the door is open.

It's built in to the lock mechanism. Do you have a fault code reader? Depending on what (if anything) has been fault logged it might be better to start with ruling out wiring problems.
